WELCOME TO THE FIFTH GRADE

The 2009/2010 school year is quickly coming to an end.  We are getting ready to begin the fourth quarter of the year, which always seems to fly by.  There are many activities for students to participate in as well as CSAP testing, Spring Break and the Class Field trip..  So as we finish out this year, we will continue to give our best and prove that we are truly "Unstoppable."

Beauty and the Beast

The Fifth Grade Class took a field trip to Pueblo on March 11th to see the stage production of Beauty and the Beast.  After the play, the students were given a guided tour of the Pueblo Memorial Auditorium by the director of the facility.  Following the tour a sack lunch picnic was enjoyed at the nearby park.  The day ended with Mrs. Chenoweth treating the students and sponsors to ice cream at Dairy Queen in Las Animas.  A good time was had by all.  Thanks go out to Mr. and Mrs. Weidrich and Mr. Miller for sponsoring the trip.
